Washington Archdiocese
Catholic Education

In Archbishop Wuerl’s recent letter to the priests of the Archdiocese of Washington about the upcoming Convocation on Catholic Education, he noted that the diocese schools are “a blessing to the Church and one of the most effective ways of carrying out our mission of passing on the faith from generation to generation.” The Archbishop also asked everyone to work together to sustain affordable, accessible Catholic education for the people of the diocese.

It is important that to include parishioners in this effort. To that end, the Archdiocese will prepare a series of informational materials, run articles in the Archdiocese newspapers, post information on the Archdiocese website and more as preparation for the Convocation.
